GiftWrapping4Volunteers from the Seguin Community and nursing students from Texas Lutheran University came together with members of the Guadalupe County Child Welfare Board and the Heart Gallery of Bluebonnet Country on Sunday to wrap gifts for local foster children. We were more than happy to offer our lobby/event room for everyone to spread out and wrap gifts for these precious kids. Each gift was wrapped with care and then grouped into clear bags for each case worker to come pick up. Cylinder Lock- These locks are known to be used for many entry door lock-sets for homes. They are typically stronger than typical locks and are harder to pick. The Cylindrical lock fits in an elongated hole on the latch plate. In place, a cylinder lock resembles a regular door lock and its appearance is flat requiring a key for opening. Our facility will have 11 keypad entrees that can be accessed with the code of your choice. As well as an access controlled gated system that will allow you to use the same code to enter our facility. Check out our Gate Access Blog for some extra information on our gate process. Our buildings will have their own keypad entry ensuring only individuals using that specific unit can access it. Each door will also have electronic door locks incorporated. This type of security feature allows for the door to stay locked until the user inputs the right credentials, which at that point will send a signal to the door for it to be temporarily unlocked. Our gate will have an ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM, which will be monitored 24/7 and our system will only grant access to valid codes and track all entries and exits. With keypad locks and security intercoms we are incorporating top of the line technology to help ensure a secure facility for the town of Seguin and surrounding areas.
