When can I move in?

As soon as you have signed a lease, paid the first month’s rent, and secured a lock. Really, it’s that simple.

How do I reserve a unit after hours?

3 Ways to Reserve: Making your free reservation is quick & easy.
  1. Online- Where you’ll always get the best price. Fill out the online reservation form to hold your unit & lock in your price. A vending machine inside the gate sells locks and supplies.
  2. Call- Our reservation specialists are waiting extended hours to help you at 830.202.2006.
  3. In Person- Visit our facility during generous office hours to reserve your space.

How do I enter the security gates?

Once you’re “Moved in”, you will be sent an access code via email & text. This Access code operates the front entry gate, the pedestrian entrance, and the Climate-controlled buildings.

How do I get a cylinder lock?

After you have “Moved in” online, or with our call center, you will be given a code via email & text. The code allows you to enter our access gate, where a vending machine sells locks, packing supplies & soda. The vending machine takes credit and debit cards.

Why do I need a cylinder lock?

Standard padlocks like you see in our logo can be cut by bolt cutters that can be purchased at most hardware stores. Disk locks are better & safer than standard padlocks, but still can be cut by bolt cutters. Cylinder locks are almost indestructable and extremely reliable and safe. It takes specialized equipment to penitrate a cylinder lock. Seguin Storage sells both disk locks and Cylinder locks.

We sell a variety of box sizes, tape, bubble wrap, mattress covers, locks

How much notice is needed to move out?

Legally none since the lease is month-to-month. However, we ask that you give us at least 7-days written notice before you move out. We know you’re busy, and it helps us serve other customers by you letting us know you need to leave.

Is a long-term lease required?

No, we rent on a month-to-month basis. Occasionally customers desire to freeze rates at current levels & a longer term lease is possible.

What documentation do I need to rent a space?

We require a government issued photo ID (ex: driver’s license, state ID, passport)

How do I pay?

The best & cheapest way is to pay automatically by ACH withdrawal. ACH payments are authorized transactions directly from our customers bank account for the purpose of rent payments only. ACH saves time, late fee charges, threat of auction & postage. The is no fees charged for ACH transactions. Another automatic payment method is via credit/debit card transaction. A 3% fee is charged to Seguin Storage by the credit card, which we pass along to the customer.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Personal checks, company checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, ACH, and Cash. A $75 fee is assessed for each NSF check we receive.

What can’t I store?

Explosives, liquids, flammable liquids, toxic materials, perishables, tires. Please contact our manager with any questions regarding storing something unusual.

What happens if I need to enter the property after access hours?

Access hours are for the safety of all tenants property. Although Seguin Storage is very safe and secure, in a well-lit & well-traveled area of town, with video surveillance throughout the property, a criminal is most likely to act during the night hours. The Seguin Police patrol our property often and are aware of our access hours.

Do you have handcarts & dollies I can use?

Yes, each climate-controlled building has several complimentary commercial grade handcarts (also known as hand-trucks or dollies) you may use on property. Please return them where you found them after use. We also have complimentary brooms available.

How do I use the Free car vacuum?

We know moving can make a mess. Located on the south side of building “B”, the commercial grade vacuum is available to clean up your vehicle after moving. Just pull up to the vacuum, press the start button, and extend the hose.
